Our team are born and bred in Zimbabwe and have visited and personally experienced all the camps and safari activities that we recommend to our guests.
We have never sold the same safari holiday twice to any guests and will always match YOU, to what we think would be the best safari experience that you are looking for! After all, it is the success of your safari that will get you coming back for more!

Growing up in Zimbabwe was a privilege! Every school holiday possible, I was packed into the car along with camping gear, fishing rods, cool boxes and our family went exploring the most amazing corners of our diverse and game enriched country. Binga, Mlibizi, Matopos, Tashinga, Kariba, Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, Eastern Highlands, Chimanimani and Mana Pools. Travel, the bush and wildlife was instilled in me from a very early age and I thank my lucky stars that I so often slept under, that I stayed on African soil.
Starting my journey through travel at Cresta Hotels way back in 1992 I met some of the most amazing people who, along the way, constantly imparted their knowledge, influenced me and helped me open doors to venture through and explore the wonders and luxuries of working in the travel industry. After Cresta Hotels I worked with the likes of Time for Africa Safaris and then Malilangwe Private Wildlife Reserve before starting up Experience Africa Safaris in 2003.
For me, creating an individual and personalised safari for my guests is like writing a new book. Each holiday is different, it has different twists and turns different high points and different adventures on each page. I strive to ensure that I take into account what your individual needs are and write it into your journey book. It’s the experiences that get into your soul and under your skin that help me in my mission to pass the “Africa travel bug” on to all my guests.
Africa is my passion and with a professional manner and personal experiences to back me and the team I choose to work with, I would love to help you write your next journey to Africa!
Marion Kalweit
My family has owned hospitality businesses in Victoria Falls since 1990 where I worked with them in the tourism industry for a number of years before taking time off to start a family.
I returned to the industry and joined forces with Experience Africa Safaris in 2015.
I strongly believe that Zimbabwe offers such diversity in the countryside, exceptional wildlife experiences and wonderful people. This makes it an extremely attractive holiday destination in a near-perfect climate.
